where am I is composed of four photographs that capture the phrase "where am I" formed with papaya seeds on a caliche road; the seeds are held inside an embroidery connecting each piece.  The work addresses disorientation and reconnection through the use of text and embroidery.  The work took space at Carlotta K. Petrina Cultural Arts Center in Brownsville, Texas as part of Encuentro en la Frontera 2019.
